"Another 'bad hair day' in Oregon"

I'm originally from South Florida, but have lived much of my adult life elsewhere, including Memphis, New York, New Jersey and now Oregon.

In one way or the other, I've been helping people sell more effectively by massaging mountains of raw data into useful information.  At the moment, I'm working for the Unitus Community Credit Union and having the time of my life.

I love playing with gigantic databases and coaxing them into telling their secrets.

I also do work that helps development teams become more productive.  (See the code.)

I am a hopeless 'early adopter' and a sucker for anything with blinking lights.  I have a passion for gadgets -- starting with radios as a kid,  then progressing to ever more powerful calculators, computers, and now I'm having fun with GPS.  And I love working with people who share that passion.

I feel lucky to be living in such amazing times, even if the economy stinks!
